How are you all doing??...Itna sannata kyun hai yahan??

I have a question, i thought it would be better to ask and get a reliable answer or the direction to a source than me reading something which can be totally misleading.

Is it mandatory to give Qurbaani?...If so, what are its guideline??

hmmmm... its mandatory on those who can afford. Meat is then distributed among those who could not afford.

The sacrifice doesnt mean that it will wash your sins but its an act of giving to others, sacrificing somthing you like or love. like you spend money on the animal and then you do not keep the animal for urself but distribute the meat among friends, n needy poor ppl. so this act is more of a giving act. There is one Ayat about it ,which says: "It is not their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is your piety that reaches Him." (Qur'an 22:37)

Secondly, what my naani n daadi had told us that these all animals wait for this day. As there wont be any other worldly animals in heavens but these animals who were slaughtered in the name of Allah. These animals know this fact and hence they wait to be chosen n sacrified for Allah.

Moreover its a command from Him and if Hazrat Ibrahim was so obedient that he had almost slaughtered his son Ismail , then obviously its the same obedience expected from us that we atleast slaughter an animal that will fill up so many stomachs.
