Life's Too Short

A New Perspective

The known and scientifically approved speed of light for observers standing outside gravitational fields and also those who are looking at light travelling outside gravitational fields is 299,792.458 kilometres/second (which is roughly 187,230 miles per second). But an observer near a black hole (where gravitational fields are exceptionally strong), for example, sees the speed of light outside gravitational fields at a zillion km/s, meaning much faster than the speed of light that science usually assumes. This is because the velocity of light appears to vary with the intensity of the gravitational field (as per Einstein’s theory of General Relativity)

From General Relativity we know that an observer standing outside gravitational fields looks at events inside gravitational fields and sees them in slow motion. When he steps inside those gravitational fields he sees them in normal speeds. But once inside, when he looks back at where he originally was outside gravitational fields, he sees the events there in fast motion. Let’s assume that in our case the event is the Moon orbiting the Earth. When an observer in stronger gravitational fields, near a black hole for example, looks at the Earth-moon system he does not see the moon orbiting Earth once every month; instead he sees the moon orbiting the Earth once every few seconds; he also sees the length of the lunar orbit to be much longer than we see it. This is because the gravitational field that he is in causes his clock to run slower and his ruler to shrink. Simply put, the greater the presence of gravity at a specific location, the slower the movement of time there. Another example: 24 hours on the gigantic & gravity enhanced planet Jupiter are equal to 52.5 hours on Earth - so time on Jupiter moves slower (at half the speed of our time) or we could also say it moves twice as fast on Earth compared to Jupiter.

1 Day on Jupiter = 2.1875 days on Earth

(an indication of Jupiter’s great size – it is 318 times heavier & 1400 times larger than Earth)

Now if we connect this scientific information to the primary principle of an Infinitely Omnipotent being called God who is above all things, we may conclude that the size & mass and gravity of His Being & His Throne or location must be beyond comprehension. Why? Based on Einstein’s theory, the greater the size & mass then the greater the gravity and the greater the gravity then the slower the time at the massive location. Here is a being who created all that exists on earth and within the universe in six days (according to the Bible & the Qur’an). So one single day at God’s residence is equal to a near eternity on earth.

More accurately, this near eternity of a Day can easily be calculated as the Age of the Universe divided by 6 Biblical Days or 13.6 billion/6 = 2.267 billion years

1 Day for God = 2.267 billion years on Earth

(hence the mass & size of His place would clearly be beyond any comprehension)

Meaning the earth has only existed for a little over 2 days as far as God is concerned & you and I, each, may exist for roughly 1.0606 seconds (assuming we live to be 75 years old). Imagine what we may be hearing from God: “Couldn’t even keep it together for a few seconds, could you?”

Moral of the story is rather simple – Don’t waste your time on trivial things because Time is NOT on your side no matter how young you are.
